Young innovators to get training on project management

Ninety young innovators from all districts convene in Kigali for project management “Boot Camp” to acquire useful business and life skills and get constructive advice from experts.

This annual YouthConnekt “Boot Camp” is part of YouthConnekt Convention organized by Ministry of Youth and ICT in partnership with One UN, National Youth Council and other partners.

In this two days “Boot Camp” which started today on 19 December 2015, participants will learn how to create customer-centered business, adjust their business based on expected market among other lessons.

They also had the opportunity to visit various entrepreneurs and institutions in a study tour to learn from them and validate the business assumptions that will take them to a sustainable and successful businesses.

Apart from learning business skills, young entrepreneurs will compete and top 30 will be awarded to help them grow their businesses.

In the last 3 years, 260 young innovators were trained in business sustainability, where 90 of them have been awarded.
