On this Wednesday, September 15, 2021, Minister Paula Ingabire officially opened a three-days retreat on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), which is taking place at Kigali Convention Centre.

The discussions from the retreat is expected to lay a firm ground for the smooth and sustainable integration of UAS technology into Rwanda’s aviation system.

She said the use of UAS technology in Rwanda is in line with the Government of Rwanda’s strong will to embrace innovation as a key driver for socio-economic development.

“The Government of Rwanda has always been and will continue to be in support of innovation that positively impacts community social and economic well-being.” Minister Paula Ingabire.
