The Minister for Youth and ICT, Honourable Nsengimana Jean Philbert has called on youth to use all their strengths and maximise opportunities which surround them.   He was opening the fifth YouthConnekt Convention that attracted more than 3000 youth from across the country and Diaspora under the theme: “Shaping together the Rwanda we want”. Minister Nsengimana asked the youth to make use of available opportunities and create jobs. “Each of you should wake up and do something. This should be based on the will to utilise available opportunities as a prerequisite. When you have strengths and ideas, you only need the will. You may not get a job but you can volunteer. Opportunities are abound in the country. It’s up to the youth to seize them,” he said. Alongside with YouthConnekt Convention, young entrepreneurs exhibited their products and services, got HIV tests and counselling for free, 90 young entrepreneurs have been trained and top 30 awarded among other activities.
